NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Allegations over the renewal of the lease for the Claridge Road shack coming mere hours after Youth, Sports and Culture Minister Mario bowleg, announced Junkanoo seed funding would be withheld for the Valley Boys until a meeting this Sunday with members from both Valley Boys groups, Junkanoo officials and other stakeholders.

Deputy Chair of the World Famous Valley Boys Francisco Cooper particularly upset by the unfolding drama and the impact it’s having on the group his father, Winston “Gus” Cooper, devoted his life to.

Senior management team representative Patrick Adderley sharing strong feelings about the way things have publicly unfolded.

Still Davis claims it didn’t have to be this way.

The culture minister was firm that there will not be two sets of seed funding in a worst case scenario. 

Now only days away from Sunday’s meeting, the future of one of the most renowned Junkanoo groups of all time hangs in the balance.
