Roots React To $200K Donation
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Roots Junkanoo Group is the recipient of a $200,000 donation thanks to The Bahamas Striping Group of Companies.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Roots Junkanoo Group is the recipient of a $200,000 donation thanks to The Bahamas Striping Group of Companies.
They will receive 50,000 dollars each year over the next four years.
Roots Chairman, Wendal “Gutts” Francis, expresses gratitude for the timely donation.
He says due to inflation over the past few years, the donation will go a long way.
This is not the first time the junkanoo group has received a donation from the company, Vice Chairman, Dwayne “Bear” Ellis, shares how the funds have been used.
