Sands Beer Dominates The Summer With “Drinks Sands & Win” Contest

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – After another year of surging popularity and community engagement, Sands Beer is again turning up the heat with the return of its popular summer promotion. The “Drink Sands & Win” campaign officially launched on June 30 and runs through October 3, 2025, giving loyal fans a chance to win big — including a brand-new Yamaha VX Wave Runner, thousands in cash prizes, and weekly giveaways.

Launched last summer for the first time, the chance to win a Jet Ski was a real hit with truly Bahamian Sands fans, who had already called Sands beer “The Official Beer of Summer.”

“We’ve built this brand on quality, community, and consistency,” said Jimmy Sands, Owner and CEO of Bahamian Brewery & Beverage Company Limited (BBB). “Every summer, our team goes the extra mile to create something exciting for our consumers, and this campaign is a testament to the strength of the Sands brand. Consequently, we can give back in meaningful ways — through prizes, local sponsorships, and events that bring people together. That’s what it’s all about.”

Last year’s grand prize winner, Andre Musgrove, walked away with a Yamaha jet ski, while other lucky winners took home cash and branded merchandise amounting to more than $30,000 in value. The campaign culminated in a Sands Beer Grand Finale Beach Party at Arawak Cay, drawing crowds and showcasing the power of a brand during the summer celebrations.

This year, BBB / Sands Beer is building on that momentum. “We are excited to bring back our summer campaign, which was very popular with our loyal consumers” said Oranique Hamilton, Marketing Manager for the Sands brand. “Once again, we’ll be giving our fans the chance to win thousands of dollars in cash and prizes with our ‘Drink Sands & Win’ campaign. Back by popular demand, Sands is turning up the heat this summer with another jaw-dropping grand prize — a sleek Yamaha VX WaveRunner. Second and third prizes are thousands of dollars in cash, in addition to weekly winners who will be selected throughout the campaign at outlets across The Bahamas and rewarded with Sands-branded merchandise, free beer, and more cash.

To participate, customers need to purchase any six Sands products — including Sands Regular, Sands Light, Sands Pink Radler, or Sands Passion Radler — and submit their entry at Jimmy’s Wines & Spirits locations and other participating bars and restaurants throughout the islands.
