SAUDI ARABIA – The U.S. has given immunity to Saudi Arabia’s de facto leader, Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman for the lawsuit filed by the fiancee of murdered journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

The prominent Saudi critic was killed in the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul in October of 2018.

U.S. intelligence says it believes Prince Mohammed ordered the killing. U.S. court filings say his immunity was due to his new role as Saudi prime minister.

The journalist’s ex-fiancee tweeted “Jamal died again today” with this ruling.
