GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – A long-standing East Grand Bahama tradition is doing more than bringing people together—it brought a major cultural and economic boost for the community.

It is very exciting to be in High Rock at the 19th Annual Sea Fest. It’s a beauty. It’s amazing to see how the people in East Grand Bahama keep it alive.

Chief Councillor for East Grand Bahama Daniel Bain was proud to welcome guests and locals to the 19th Annual Sea Festival on Monday.

Held on the grounds of the High Rock Primary School, Sea Fest featured all things Bahamian—from food and music to kids’ activities and a fan-favorite demonstration by the Royal Bahamas Police Force’s K-9 unit.

Inspector Lamont Davis says the police team looks forward to the annual tradition.
