Selection Of New UB President Is Up To The Board
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Education Minister Glenys Hanna-Martin says the selection of a new president for the University of The Bahamas is solely up to its board of trustees.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Education Minister Glenys Hanna-Martin says the selection of a new president for the University of The Bahamas is solely up to its board of trustees.
Her comments came after Free National Movement Leader Michael Pintard questioned the process.
Hanna-Martin previously expressed concern about UB’s president being a non-Bahamian and asserted UB will have a Bahamian president in the future.
During the 2023/2024 Budget Debate Pintard said the matter should be addressed by the prime minister.
