NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Two 16-year-olds are behind bars after two teens were shot dead outside a home on Faith Avenue.

Prosecutors said the teens are responsible for the February 26 murders of Andrew Newry Jr, and Malik Seymour on February 26.

The names of the accused killers have been withheld because they are minors.

The two friends were in the back of Newry’s home when they were shot multiple times.

At the time of his murder, Newry was on three years probation following a conviction for attempted murder in relation to a stabbing of a student at the Anatol Rodgers School in 2022.

The accused were not required to enter pleas when they stood before Magistrate Algernon Allen Jr.

Bail was denied and they’re next due in court on July 1 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
