NEW YORK – Workers cleaning up the Buffalo Niagara International Airport days after a deadly Christmas blizzard buried New York’s second-largest city in blinding snow.

Several snow plows were seen shoveling snow from the airport tarmac, as aerial footage filmed on board an aircraft showed the buffalo landscape covered in white.

As the storm’s remnants taper off, the national weather service reported that Buffalo, which was ground zero of the storm, had received more than 4-1/2 feet of snow since late last week.
