UNITED STATES – More than two thousand employees at 112 Starbucks locations held a strike as the union has been organizing stores for the last year.

The strike is in protest of retaliation against union supporters nationwide, as well as, the company’s refusal to bargain on a first labor deal.

There are 264 stores that have voted in favor of union representation but no contracts have been negotiated, even at stores that voted nearly a year ago.
