NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Last Friday, more than 1200 students from different schools in the Northern New Providence District came together at the Kendal Isaacs Gymnasium for the inaugural Anti-Bullying Rally, organized by the Ministry of Education.

Event coordinator, Latoya Burrows, is the principal of D.W. Davis. She shed light on the motivation behind this gathering.

From powerful speeches to heartfelt reflections, the Anti-Bullying Rally served as a reminder of the collective responsibility to create a safe and inclusive environment for all students.

Distinguished guests graced the event, among them were Education Minister Glenys Hanna-Martin, National Security Minister Wayne Munroe, and Minister for Youth, Sports, and Culture Mario Bowleg and each shared profound insights into the serious ramifications of bullying.
