NASSAU, BAHAMAS – An assembly of global thought leaders and experts convened at the Harry C. Moore Library Auditorium Thursday as the University of The Bahamas (UB) Government and Public Policy Institute (GPPI), in partnership with the Global Interdependence Center (GIC), hosted their first global summit on climate, currency, and central banking.

The summit covers an extensive list of critical topics at the intersection of environmental sustainability, financial stability, and monetary policies.

William Kennedy is the board chair of the Global Interdependence Center.

Minister of Environment Vaughn Miller was also in attendance.

Acting president of the University of The Bahamas, Janyne Hodder highlights the university’s commitment to addressing these pressing issues through its programming, aligning with the nation’s priorities.
