NASSAU, BAHAMAS – There is an impressive list of infrastructure upgrades on tap for family islands according to the Minister of Works, Utilities, and Family Island Affairs Clay Sweeting.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – There is an impressive list of infrastructure upgrades on tap for family islands according to the Minister of Works, Utilities, and Family Island Affairs Clay Sweeting.
There i the ongoing road patching and future road paving in Eleuthera.
Sweeting predicts both the air and fishing industries on the island will see upgrades.
Sweeting also added that there are ongoing concerns that they hope to bring focus to, especially in places like West End Grand Bahama.
While the family islands see their fair share of neglect, Sweeting says the ministry is working to change that narrative.
