Taxi Driver Accused of Forging Public Service License

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Daryl Holmes, 53, allegedly gave a policeman a forged public service license when he was stopped for a traffic offense on August 2.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A taxi driver whose public service license expired in 2020 is accused of getting a fake one. 

Daryl Holmes, 53, allegedly gave a policeman a forged public service license when he was stopped for a traffic offense on August 2.

He was taken into custody after the officer suspected it was  fake.

Holmes pleaded not guilty to possession of a forged document and uttering a forged document at his arraignment before the Acting Chief Magistrate.

He was granted $5,000 bail.Holmes next appears before Magistrate Kendra Kelly on August 15 for a trial date.
