ST. LUCIA – The order of the day for Team Bahamas on day two was more medals and more records. At the end of day one, Team Bahamas had accumulated 472 points, leading ahead of Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago, who were in second and third place, respectively. Head coach Dwayne Davis Jr. spoke about Team Bahamas’ performance on day two.

Some of the medal winners for the day included Dexter Russell, Tyler Cartwright, Anthonique Rolle, and Nai’a Belton.

One of the team’s captains, Bianca Johnson, also snagged several medals, including a gold in the girls 15-17 100-meter backstroke.

Competition wrapped up earlier today, and Team Bahamas is expected to return home late on Monday.

Liberty Dominates in Return After Olympic Break

The Liberty got right back to dominating the WNBA after their Olympic break, picking up a 79-67 win over the defending champion Las Vegas Aces yesterday in the desert.

Jonquel Jones secured a double-double with 10 points, owning the glass with 17 rebounds, and spreading the love on offense, dishing out seven assists, both team highs. Sabrina Ionescu led the team with 23 points and six rebounds.
