NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Covid-19 testing requirements for unvaccinated people traveling to The Bahamas has been eliminated.

The Ministry of Health and Wellness making the announcement in a press release saying the elimination took effect on Tuesday.

The new policy means vaccinated and unvaccinated citizens and visitors can enter The Bahamas without testing regardless of their vaccination status.

The Ministry of Health also noted that all platforms that capture and report on covid-19 testing and related data in-country will remain in place.

Under the old guidelines, only vaccinated travelers were not mandated to present a negative test to enter the country.

As covid cases remain low, the Davis administration relaxed several covid protocols including the mask mandate.
