NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Elevation Awards has officially announced the nominees for the 7th Annual Elevation Awards, set to take place on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 6:00pm at Margaritaville Beach Resort on West Bay Street. Hosted by media personality Sherrelle “Roxie Starr” Duncombe, the prestigious awards show will once again spotlight excellence across music, media, entertainment, and community impact, and will broadcast live on ZNS, allowing audiences throughout The Bahamas and abroad to be part of the celebration.

The 2026 nominations reflect a vibrant and competitive year in Bahamian creativity, with several artists earning multiple nominations across major categories. Standout nominees with the most appearances include Wendi242, Ilsha, Jay Shephard, Jonny Cake, Julien Believe, Shad Fer, Kenyatta Taylor, Eman, and Stermon, whose work spans categories such as Song of the Year, Artist of the Year, Music Video of the Year, and Gospel honors. The nominations also highlight emerging talent in the New Artist of the Year category, featuring Dezaria McKenzie, Gigi Ali, Skye Empowerment, Smokie Blaxx, Shanlese, and Shad Fer, signaling a strong future for Bahamian music and entertainment.

Key categories for the 7th Annual Elevation Awards include Male Artist of the Year, Female Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Traditional Song of the Year, Contemporary Song of the Year, Gospel Artist of the Year, Gospel Song of the Year, and , alongside a robust lineup of media and creative categories such as TV Series of the Year, TV Talk Show of the Year, Podcast of the Year, , Photographer of the Year, Video Director of the Year, and Sketch Comedian of the Year. One of the night’s most meaningful moments will be the presentation of the Pioneer Award to Lynn-Terez Davis, an accomplished actor, producer, and author with a career spanning more than 25 years. Widely celebrated for her impactful stage plays and her beloved comedic persona “Dynamite Daisy,” Davis has become a household name in Bahamian theatre and entertainment, using humor and storytelling to connect with audiences and leave a lasting cultural legacy.
