VENEZUELA & CUBA – Long fuel lines have returned across Cuba after U.S. President Donald Trump warned that Venezuelan oil and financial support may be cut off.

Posting on Truth Social, Trump said no oil or money would reach the island unless Havana negotiates with Washington, following a U.S. operation that captured Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro.

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel rejected the warning, calling Cuba sovereign and vowing to resist external pressure.

Reuters reports that an end to Venezuelan oil has historically sparked hours-long gas lines, worsening daily life for millions already facing acute shortages.
