Klay Thompson Bombs Away, Dubs Win By 1

Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors scored 26 points to help his team squawk past the Sacramento Kings 126-125 and tie their series at 2 wins apiece.

Klay made 9 of his 15 shot attempts while making 5 of 9 from three, one of which was a clutch shot to put the dubs up by 10 at the end of the third quarter.

He also added rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal to his stat sheet.

Stephen Curry (who else?)  led the Warriors in scoring with 32 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. He almost completely undid the Warriors’ lead when he was assessed a technical foul for calling a timeout when the team was out of them, allowing the Kings to come within one point.

Jordan Poole added 22 points and Andrew Wiggins scored 18 points, including the Warriors’ final bucket.

DeAaron Fox had 38 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Rookie forward Keegan Murray had 23 points and 7 assists. All-star big man Domantis Sabonis had 14 and 8.

With the win, the Warriors have tied the series at 2 wins apiece. The Dubs have a chance to go back to Sacramento on Wednesday and come out ahead in the series.
