UNITED STATES – The Supreme Court will decide Tiktok’s fate on January 10th, hearing arguments over a law requiring the app to sever ties with its Chinese Parent Company, Bytedance, or face a U.S Ban.

Tiktok claims the law violates free speech, while the government cites national security concerns.

If the ban proceeds, Tiktok could shut down in the U.S. By January 19th, leaving 170 million users and countless creators scrambling.

Some creators are diversifying on platforms like Instagram and Youtube, but many credit Tiktok’s unique algorithm for their success.

A final decision is expected in the coming weeks.
