NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The mayor of the Swiss Town where late rock ‘n’ roll legend Tina Turner lived her last days paid homage on Thursday to an “Extremely positive, powerful” superstar who he said was well-loved by locals.

Flowers and cards lied outside the house in the picturesque town of Kuesnacht, on the shore of Lake Zurich, where turner died on Wednesday at the age of 83.
