UNITED NATIONS – The UN’s top court has ordered Israel to stop its military offensive in Rafah, Gaza, but stopped short of a full ceasefire.

The decision by the international criminal court adds to international pressure as criticism of Israel’s actions grows.

Three European countries recognized a Palestinian state this week, while the ICC requested arrest warrants for Hamas leaders and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Netanyahu faces calls to end the conflict, triggered by Hamas-led attacks that killed 1,200 Israelis on October 7th.
