NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man accused of killing his father will go to trial next year.Prosecutors say 26-year-old Mario Cash Jr. fatally stabbed his 51-year-old father, Mario Cash Sr., during a domestic dispute.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man accused of killing his father will go to trial next year.

Prosecutors say 26-year-old Mario Cash Jr. fatally stabbed his 51-year-old father, Mario Cash Sr., during a domestic dispute at their home at Venetian West on January 1, the country’s first murder of 2024.

Cash, who’s free on bail, pleaded not guilty to the murder charge at his arraignment before Senior Justice Cheryl Grant-Thompson.

His trial is set for March 3, 2025.
