NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A judge has set an expedited trial for accused child killer Chris Ferguson, who’s charged in the murder of 12-year-old Adriel Moxey.

Ferguson, who worked across the street from Anatol Rodgers High School,  was arrested for the murder in December 2024.

Adriel, who attended Anatol Rodgers, failed to come home from school on November 18.

She was found strangled and raped in the bushes near her home two days later.

Justice Guillimina Archer-Minns said she was setting early trial dates due to the nature of the case.

The trial is scheduled to begin next February 9.

If the matter doesn’t proceed on that date, the trial will be heard in September 2026.
