USA – A U.S. district judge has ruled former U.S. President Donald Trump will stand trial on March 4, 2024 in his federal case in Washington over charges of trying to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

If the current March 2024 date holds, it would represent a setback to Trump’s efforts to push the case back until well after the 2024 presidential election.

Trump remains the early front-runner for the republican nomination.
