UNITED STATES – U.S. President Donald Trump has signed the Take It Down Act into law, criminalizing the spread of non-consensual intimate images,including ai-generated deepfakes.

The bipartisan bill, co-led by Senators Ted Cruz and Amy Klobuchar, aims to crack down on online exploitation.

At the rose garden signing, First Lady Melania Trump said the law will help protect families from digital abuse.

Deepfakes, often hard to detect, ise A.I. to create fake but convincing videos and audio.
