NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A Supreme Court judge has denied bail to two brothers facing charges in relation to the rape of a woman in Grand Bahama.

Prosecutors allege that Shemar Moss, 24, raped and robbed a woman at the Victoria Inn on January 19, 2025,  while Steffon Moss, 26, is accused of abetting the rape.

The alleged victim was at a nightclub and when she woke up, she found herself naked in a room with the Moss brothers.

Moss is accused of pulling a knife on the woman before he raped her and took her $1,500 cellphone.

Justice Petra Hanna-Adderley refused bail for both men after finding that there had been no unreasonable delay in the case.

Both men are expected to be tried in 2026
