NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The national beach volleyball team, made up of Jon Isaacs and Eugene Stuart has begun the 2023 North Central America and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation, NORCECA for short, season.

The first stop on the tour was Aguascaliente, Mexico where the team participated in the same pool as Guatemala and Mexico.

The team lost a couple of tough matches to their pool mates, coming in 16th overall in the tournament with 112 points.

We’ll be sure to update you as they continue on their tour.

Deandre Ayton and the Phoenix Suns dominated the paint last night, helping his Phoenix Suns bounce the Los Angeles Clippers from the playoffs 136-130.

Former number-one overall pick Deandre Ayton and his Phoenix Suns beat the LA Clippers last night 136-130, eliminating the clippers and surviving and advancing to the 2nd round of the NBA playoffs.

Ayton got his 4th double-double of the series with 21 points and 11 rebounds. He set the tone early, dominating the painted area, scoring 18 points in the first half.

Devin Booker went off to the tune of 47 points, 8 rebounds, and 10 assists while Kevin Durant had 31 points and 6 rebounds.

Norman Powell led the clippers in scoring with 27 points. Mason Plumlee added 20 off the bench.

The Suns are set to play the Denver nuggets in the 2nd round and Ayton will have his hands full with 2-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic.
