NASSAU, BAHAMAS – St. Martin took an initial lead with a goal in the 38th minute.

The Bahamas’ girls fought hard to keep themselves in the game, but St. Martin added another goal in the 47th minute.

The Bahamas would finally get on the board in the 53rd minute with a goal from Alexis Williamson before St. Martin put them away. 

This is the final match in the current window for CONCACAF nations.

Basketball

Bahamians Klay Thompson, DeAndre Ayton and Eric Gordon all played game 3 of their first-round series last night. 

Klay and his Golden State Warriors defeated the Sacramento Kings 114-97. Klay only had 13 points but in turn, set the tone with his hustle and defensive intensity for a Dubs team that forced 15 Sacramento turnovers. 

Steph Curry had 36 points, to lead the Dubs along with Kevon Looney who went beast mode inside grabbing 20 rebounds. 

Deaaron Fox had a near triple-double with 26 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists to lead the Kings. 

Deandre Ayton and the Phoenix Suns won a shootout with Eric Gordon and the LA Clippers 129-124. 

Ayton had 12 points and 11 rebounds, 5 of which came on the offensive end and Gordon had 7 points. 

Devin Booker went bonkers for the Suns with 45 points while Kevin Durant added 28 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. 

The Suns and the Clippers resume their series tomorrow night while Klay and the Warriors ride again on Sunday afternoon.
