UNITED STATES – The U.S. House of Representatives began debate Wednesday on a sweeping tax cut and spending bill backed by President Donald Trump, just days after it narrowly passed the senate.

Trump is pushing for a quick win ahead of the July 4th holiday – urging Republicans not to cave to what he calls the “radical left.”

But Democrats are strongly opposed – arguing the Bill Favors the wealthy while slashing vital services.
