UNITED STATES – The U.S. military has carried out another deadly strike in the Caribbean, killing three men aboard a suspected drug-running vessel in international waters on Thursday.

U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth confirmed the operation on social media, claiming the boat was operated by a designated terrorist organization, though he did not provide evidence supporting the assertion.

A brief 20-second video circulating online shows a small vessel being hit by a munition before erupting into flames. The clip was obtained through Reuters, who reports they have not independently verified the footage or when it was recorded.

This marks the latest in a rapid series of U.S. military actions across the region. Since September, more than a dozen strikes, mostly near Venezuela and across the eastern Pacific, have left over 60 people dead as U.S. forces continue targeting suspected drug-trafficking and militant operations.
