NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A busy weekend ahead for the UB athletic program as volleyball heads to Florida.

The women’s volleyball team practiced Thursday at the David Posnack Jewish Community Center in Davie, Florida ahead of the team’s two game tour this weekend. 

The team takes on Atlantis University Friday night and Saturday afternoon in the Miami area. This is the team’s first international tour as UB Mingoes. 

Assistant Head coach Sydline Justilien says the team shocked her in practice.

Meanwhile, ens basketball gearing up for Midnight Madness this weekend. Midnight Madness will mark the team’s official kickoff scrimmage with the blue team taking on the white team. The game starts midnight Saturday and the doors of the Kendal Isaacs Gym open at 11PM Saturday night. 

UB men’s basketball head Bacchus Rolle says the team has not played a full uninterrupted season since 2019 and is ready to hit the court to show off what they have been working on.
