NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Kimberley Rolle has served as the Athletics Director at the University of The Bahamas since 2009 and under her leadership, sports has thrived.

I had the opportunity to sit down with Rolle who shared what the outlook for university sports will look like for the new academic year.

Rolle also touched on what one of the main goals will be.

WNBA

Jonquel Jones and the New York Liberty’s don’t play again until Thursday but she’s still celebrating the release of her new player exclusive kicks.

She shared with me a little about her relationship with Nike.

She also knows that she is blessed; coming all the way from Grand Bahama to the big leagues with a signature shoe with the largest tennis brand in the world.

Track and Field

During the World Relays held right here in The Bahamas in May, we learnt that Anthonique Strachan had to shut down her season.

The reason – shin splints. We caught up with her on Sunday to talk about the road to recovery.

And Strachan, who trains and lives in Jamaica, says the process has been difficult.

She also spoke to me about her outlook for 2025.
