UNITED KINGDOM – UK Defence Minister Ben Wallace says the government is currently reviewing the possibility of introducing restrictions on travelers coming from China as the country battles a surge in COVID-19 cases.

This week, Italy, Japan, India and the United States all announced mandatory testing for travelers from China, where cases are on the rise after Beijing’s decision to lift zero-covid policies.

Wallace said the UK had no plans to bring back testing for those coming into the country, but said the government would consider curbs for arrivals from China.
