NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Questions are still swirling about Royal Caribbean’s Proposed Paradise Island Beach Project. Some of those questions are focused on the environmental impact, while others ask if the project is an example of a power struggle.

Former Executive Director of The Bahamas National Trust, Eric Carey, is now the President and CEO of One Consultants, an environmental services company.

He has concerns surrounding Royal Caribbean’s Paradise Island Beach Project.

When it comes to this project in particular, he says some environmental questions have gone unanswered.

Atlantis listed some of these unanswered questions in a statement released yesterday including the potentially devastating impact new overwater structures could have to the Paradise Island coastline.

Also, any potential impact on the islands northern coral reef, plans for the wastewater management of thousands of visitors a day, and the potential noise pollution.
