NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Industrial action could soon hit KFC stores as union leaders rally workers over an industrial agreement that is eight years outdated.

President of the Bahamas Hotel Catering and Allied Workers Union Darrin Woods rallying the more than 300 KFC employees who he claims are working without an industrial agreement.

The last one expired in 2015.

The biggest issues – salary increases and back pay.

10 year employee Jeffrey Moxey, is among those workers who say time has run out.

Also lending support to the KFC workers is President of the Bahamas National Alliance of Trade Union Congress, Belinda Wilson who heads the umbrella

Union for these workers.

Our News reached out to Restaurants Bahamas, the company with oversight for KFC but our calls were not immediately returned.
