Upgraded Charges for Man Accused of Shooting Girlfriend

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man accused of shooting his girlfriend in June is now facing a murder charge in relation to her shooting.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man accused of shooting his girlfriend in June is now facing a murder charge in relation to her shooting.

Prosecutors say on June 23, 37-year-old Kenyen Adderley shot Kascheka Rigby in the head following an argument.

The incident allegedly took place in Yellow Elder.

Adderley initially faced a charge of attempted murder However, Rigby died in hospital a few days after she was shot.

Adderley didn’t have to enter a plea to the murder charge when he stood before Senior Magistrate Algernon Allen Jr.

He was denied bail and is due back ok court on October 1 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
