NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Arawak Cay vendors are reacting to deadly shooting that occurred over the weekend. Our News speaks to one vendor who is concerned that it will impact business while another believes it will not.

Those Arawak Cay vendors giving mixed reaction to the deadly incident.

The murder occurred behind Arawak Cay in front of Bahamas Customs near Junkanoo Village Club. 

D Waters Cafe owner Dwight Ambrister says he’s concerned. But, not everyone shares the same view. 

Police say the woman was shot and killed around 1:45AM on Sunday.

According to reports, she was with another woman when she was approached and shot by a man wearing a hooded jacket.  

Ambrister says he doesn’t believe the incident will affect business.
