WASHINGTON, D.C. – Donald Trump was sworn in as the 47th President of The United States this afternoon. Frigid temperatures in Washington D.C. Forced the inauguration ceremony to be indoors. The newly sworn-in president, telling a room full of former U.S. Leaders, his family, and supporters he would declare illegal immigration a national emergency as a part of a sweeping immigration crackdown.

While the inauguration happened hundreds of miles away. Americans and residents here in The Bahamas were keeping a close eye on the event.

Donald Trump has been sworn in as the newest President of The United States.

Trump’s previous stint as U.S President between 2017–2021 had it’s fair share of controversy.
