UNITED STATES – The FDA says check your medicine cabinet as two popular over-the-counter eye products have been voluntarily recalled.

Avkare is pulling its artificial tears solution and gel after an FDA audit found possible manufacturing issues.

Nearly 15,000 cases are affected, and the exact health risks aren’t clear, but the FDA says the quality can’t be guaranteed.
