WATCH: Man Shot at Gas Station

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Our News team is on the scene where a man was shot at Esso Gas Station at the intersection of Faith Avenue and Carmichael Road as he was being served fuel shortly before 12pm.

1:40 pm – Victim’s body process by police and placed in police van.

CID Chief Superintendent Michael Johnson confirms the victim was approached by a man driving a small Japanese vehicle.

The suspect shot the victim multiple times about the body while he pumped gas at Esso Gas Station.

The suspect later made his escape by fleeing on to Carmichael Road, west of the scene.

Police say the victim was in his late 20’s.

Police are appealing to the public to come forward with any information they have and to also be alert of their surroundings at all times.
