NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Junkanoo is just a day away and a lot of the focus will be on the Valley Boys split. 

One faction of the group is the Way Forward Valley Boys. 

We were Met with chariots and parting seas meticulously being pasted by senior members.  

Peter “Gold” Turnquest who started in the Valley Boys as a runner in the 1960’s says they’re determined to leave audiences in awe which fuelled his decision to his return to Bay Street. 

Anthony Bain known as “Bain Boy” began his Junkanoo journey with the Valley Boys in 1971 winning a total of 19 best costume awards.

He gave us a sneak peak of what fans can expect this year.

“We’re going to have where Moses was apparently pleading with pharaoh to let the people go in a scene produced by Edward  Munroe then the piece I’ve produced pharaoh chase Which is pharaoh trying to retain his prominence”
