We Cannot Leave Family Islands Behind

Improved medical facilities and emergency resources are on the way for Family Islanders according to Minister of Health.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The health minister says better facilities and emergency resources are on the way for Family Islanders.

For years residents of Family Islands have felt that their clinics have been left behind with no ambulances, improper airlifts, and other emergency services but now Minister of Health Michael Darville says these clinics are getting a long-deserved upgrade.

The minister also noting that some of the final data results needed to move forward on the construction of the new facility for the rand memorial hospital in Grand Bahama should be in either today or tomorrow.
