NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A local community leader is speaking out against the abduction and sexual assault of a nine-year-old girl. She’s now calling on the government to enforce stiffer penalties on those that harm young children.

The alleged abduction and sex assault of a nine-year-old girl caused national outcry for justice and stiffer penalties against child predators and rapists.

Family of All Murder Victims Director Khandi Gibson is also outraged.

This behavior Gibson says needs to be taken more seriously by those in power.

Gibson’s organisation deals mainly with relatives of those that have been murdered. However, helping rape and sexual assault victims is something foam is also looking to explore.
