NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Bahamas Hotel Catering and Allied Workers Union is calling in the international troops after they claim their shop steward was unlawfully terminated from the Atlantis Resort.

Union President Darrin Woods is calling it an attack on unions. The worker was terminated last week Friday.

Atlantis declined to comment on the issue.

Woods says the hotel explained she was terminated for inciting and gross insubordination.

On Thursday, other unions joined them in this movement adding that a meeting is planned with the prime minister.
