X (FORMERLY TWITTER) – Whatsapp boss Will Cathcart has refuted Elon Musk’s claim that the messaging app “exports your user data every night.” on X, Cathcart stated the allegation was “not correct,” emphasizing that Whatsapp messages are end-to-end encrypted, making them unreadable by the company.
Meta’s AI chief, also criticized musk on X, accusing him of spreading conspiracy theories and making contradictory claims about AI.
Cathcart reiterated that only the sender and recipient can read Whatsapp messages, highlighting the company’s strong stance on encryption.
