NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Stefan Knowles dominated last year’s Best of The Best event, winning the A, B and C classes, overcoming a broken jib halyard to win B class and lock up the triple crown.

Gavin McKinney became the fourth Bahamian to win a world title when he won the 5.5 m class at the World Championships in France in 2017,

At 22 years old, Cochise Burrows made the leap from optis to sloops, coming second in the B-class this year at the national regatta and Josh Green won the E-class in Exuma earlier this year.

He’ll look to repeat at best of the best.

Track and Field

Steven Gardiner suffered a sprain of a ligament in his leg this past August in the World Athletics Championships in Budapest but he says he’s now up to full speed.

NBA

Deandre Ayton’s Foundation in conjunction with Junior Achievers Bahamas made donations to Get Fit with Smith, a fitness program that works with special needs kids, and Bahamas Academy.

The recipients of these generous donations were elated.
