NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Bahamas women’s national volleyball team fell to Trinidad and Tobago in Suriname.

The women’s squad fell to Trinidad in 5 sets to T&T.

Janelle Curtis led the team with 20 points, Brittany Bonamy had 12.

Jonquel Jones was named WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week last week.

The Grand Bahama native averaged 18 points, 10 rebounds and almost 2 points on an absurd 63% shooting from the field and 54% from the three-point line.

She was also perfect from the free throw line.

Just last night she helped her team pick up their third straight win, this one came against the Seattle Storm.

JJ had 13 points and she beasted out on the boards pulling down a season-high 17 rebounds.
