NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Bahamas is a country with over 700 islands and cays, spanning over 700 miles from north to south. This means the responsibility of maintaining roads and infrastructure is a tall task.

The work does not stop at roads and utilities, they also help other ministries in the government when it comes time for construction, renovation, or expansion.

The job becomes harder in Family Islands, where the logistics of bringing in the materials needed for the jobs to be done becomes far more complicated.

This sometimes results in the materials being brought in to the opposite end of the island as the project, and having to be trucked down, or barged around to the site.
