NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The blaze, which erupted just before 4 p.m., sent plumes of smoke billowing across the eastern skies of New Providence.

Scores of Kemp Road residents watched helplessly as their beloved safe haven was engulfed in flames.

For years, the center has been a lifeline for the community, offering essential services such as after-school programs, food distributions, and counseling.

Taylor described it as a second home.

Despite the loss, pastor Taylor remains hopeful.
