NASSAU, BAHAMAS – World Famous Valley Boys Chairman Brian Adderley reflecting on the legacy of the group’s name, coined by its iconic founder, Winston “Gus” Cooper.

He sat down with me for his first interview since the group officially split last year .

The result of long-simmering tensions that led to the formation of the Way Forward Valley Boys now led by Trevor Davis.

Just last week, the registrar general struck the world famous Valley Boys off the register of non-profits, citing non-compliance with directives under the Non-Profit Organizations Act.

And while he declined to speak on pending court matters, Adderley was clear on one point.

So what’s really at the heart of this divide between the World Famous and the Way Forward factions?

But Adderley says the implications of this feud go far beyond just one group.

And as for reconciliation Adderley says that ship has sailed.

Now Adderley shared more about the upcoming parade season and his group’s future plans. We’ll bring that to you in a report on Tuesday.
